It is home to a wide variety of ecosystems, including lowland deciduous forest, mangroves, and coastal areas, offering spectacular landscapes. The Cacaxtla Plateau serves as a habitat for protected wildlife, such as jaguars, sea turtles, and the Sinaloa chara. In addition, it preserves traditions such as the game of ulama de cadera and the archaeological site “Las Labradas.”
