31 de marzo Fort

Description: The cannon found inside “31 de marzo” Fort is a monument to commemorate the defense of Mexico by the Mazatlecos against Cordelliere during the second French intervention of Mexico. The Fort was built in 1893 by order of Porfirio Díaz and designed by Andrés Librado Tapia, and is located next to Pinitos Beach.
